Song of the Day July 4th!!!

Hey guys, it's pretty late. According to my clock over here in the South-east it's a little over 9 p.m. Hope you guys had a good day! Anyway, today's Song of the Day is very specific. It's just one video that I found on YouTube when I felt like listening to some One Republic. So, today it is a One Republic song, just a cover of it. I absolutely love this video and you guys need to check it out, ok? Espceially if you like violin music or One Republic. I like both, obviously. It's an electric violin cover of the song 'Secrets' by-of course- One Republic. The guy that plays it is CRAZY talented and it's pretty insane. I also listened to a cello version mash-up of 'Secrets' and 'Halo' by Beyonce, with the link here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfJtaDulVeA. This guy is really great. You can tell by the way he plays that he really has a passion for what he's doing. The song Secrets has been a favorite of mine for at least a few years. It always intrigued me how the included the cello and other string instruments into such a different type of music, and how it influenced them. The lyrics to all of their songs are inspirational and really mean something if you just listen. So, I hope you've had a good day and a good week, and I know the music description is a little short, but it's because I'm actually listening to the cello cover and before that I was listening to the violin cover, and I want to find more. I think I'll go listen to another electric violin song, definitely played by the same guy. So, do what you love like these guys and never lose that passion once you have it.
